This is the perfect way to tidy up your cables even further by adding power straight to the tray! Choose from 2 or 4 outlets, with options for longer or shorter cables, which themselves can be either a starter cable (to plus into the wall) or an interconnecting cable (to connect to other compatible softwiring lead ends). These come in black or white to match whatever colour cable tray you have, and have fill tabs supplied as well which may not be needed, but are there to fill the space if you punch-out a tab on the tray in the wrong spot, and need to fill the gap. These are modular in design, so have various configuration options to suit your needs.

Danny’s Drive and Radial Cable Snake

If you’ve bought one of our Drive or Radial Desks with a cable tray, then the Drive and Radial Cable Snake is a perfect addition to take your cable management to the next level. These flexible snakes allow you to run your cables through straight from the cable tray up, keeping them all together and out of sight. There are 4 segregation channels per snake to let you organise your cables and keep them tidy. They have a modular design, where segments can be taken off or added to adjust the length of the snake as needed. These include screws to attach the snake to your existing Drive cable tray.

For easy access to power from the top of a desk, the Accede in-desk power module is the perfect way to declutter cables and keep your work space tidy and well-managed. These kits contain everything you need to help organise your cables and run power to your desk with ease. Each kit comes with dual tier cable basket, a GPO strip, 2 data tiles and a cable to power the GPOs. Access everything you need from these baskets, which screw into the underside of the desk and provide plenty of space to run cables through. Extra length isn’t a problem, as these can be easily cut down to make them smaller if need be.

Softwiring GPOs

Our Softwiring GPOs represent the latest generation of socket outlet designed by CMS Electracom. Softwiring couplers complying to the AS/NZS61535.1 connector standard are integrated into the moulding. They comply with IP4X and hence there is no requirement to use safety end caps or tool only removable connectors. Our softwiring GPOS offer significant installation benefits as no tools are required for thin or thick panel mounting. This speed of installation offers excellent labour savings. The SW series features a 10amp double pole, auto switched outlet. The SW series is covered by the Energy Safe Certificate. These are available in either black or white, and with thick or thin panel mounting upon request.

Danny’s Power Poles

A great way to create a central power station and manage your cables running from either a ceiling or wall is to use one of our power poles to help. These rigid poles run cables through the middle from the floor or ceiling to wherever you need it, with 4 size options for you to choose from. By default the poles have an access door that allows for cables to be tucked away most of the time and kept nice and organised. This can be swapped to a brush strip upon request. These come with all the necessary components for whichever mount option you choose, which are floor to desk, ceiling to desk and ceiling to floor. A segregation plate is also included, to create a separate compartment for the segregation of data and power.

10amp 3 pin Starter Lead with Thermal Overload

If you want to start a softwiring circuit but you don’t want to use a starter socket, you can use one of these instead to plug your CMS product into an outlet. These convert the standard TAG leads which are the ends for our softwiring range into 3-pin plugs, which suit Australian outlets. These starter leads are manufactured from a 3 core 2.5sqmm flexible cable, terminated with a 20amp female socket connect and 10amp Australian 3 pin male plug. They have slimline integrated thermal overload 30mm in from the plug, the plug being rated at 10amps. These are available in 3 sizes and 2 colour options, black and white.

Interconnecting cables

Standard interconnecting cables are manufactured from 3 core 2.5mm2 flexible cable. They are rated at 20A and are terminated with male and female AS/NZ61535.1 compliant connectors. Where mechanical and EMC segregation from communications cabling is required within furniture and umbilicals, plastic and steel conduit casing with heat-shrunk boots are also available. Leads are Halogen Free.

Starter sockets

20amp starter sockets with TAG connectors can be mounted anywhere; wall, floor, ceiling etc used to begin a softwiring circuit. Each configuration can be put anywhere, but are designed to be mounted on certain surfaces. Instead of these, you can also start your softwiring circuit with a 10amp 3pin cable, which plugs directly into an outlet. Available in 3 different configurations with different numbers of entries and mounting requirements. Available in black or white.

Flip in-desk power module

One of our in-desk power solutions, the Flip in-desk power module has a special feature that makes it stand out. What’s unique about this in-desk power solution is that the GPOS are all covered by a spring-loaded lid which flips up and down to provide access to the GPO. This means the outlets can be hidden when not in use. These are great to get easy access to power while being very out of the way and space efficient. As with most of our in-desk power, they come in a variety of configurations to fit your personal needs, including fast-charging USB A and C ports, and fully segregated provision for data. These are mounted on the surface and require a cut-out to sit in, but there is also a flush mount version if you prefer that look.
